Pulmonary function diagnostics and/or spirometry provides information about the various values concerning the function of the lungs.
For example, the total capacity of the lungs, the force that can be applied to exhale the air from the lungs and the resistance of the airways caused by a narrowing of the bronchi are measured.
Thanks to spirometry, we can detect and treat possible changes in lung functions that may only be slightly impaired, at an early stage.
This check is particularly important for smokers!
